[SAR_032].Various Artists - Indonesian Netlabel Compilation (Riot In The Internet)

Beberapa bulan yang lalu saya menerima salah satu surat via akun Facebook dari salah satu kurator dan juga founder dari YesNo Wave yang berisi tentang perencanaan perilisan serentak mixtape dari netlabel-netlabel seluruh Indonesia.
Tentu saja hal ini dilakukan dengan satu motif tertentu di baliknya. Yaitu eksistensi netlabel di Indonesia yang membuat penggalangan masal ini terjadi. Di Indonesia sendiri, netlabel merupakan satu "buah" kultur yang masih berumur muda tetapi keeksistensiannya sudah mulai diperhitungkan dalam pembicaraan skema musik skala nasional.
Hal ini tentu terukur dengan rilisan Zoo yang beberapa tahun yang lalu masuk review dalam salah satu radio terkemuka di ibukota ataupun E.P. Frau yang menjadi hype di radio-radio terkemuka di kota besar. Maka di sini netlabel di Indonesia bisa dikatakan tidak lagi dapat dikatakan satu "iseng-isengan". Karena eksistensinya yang sudah mulai diperhitungkan.
Mixtape ini diracik masing-masing pernetlabelnya dan juga dengan tema-tema dan pilihan tersendiri. Kebetulan di sini StoneAge Records merupakan salah satu netlabel yang berada di garda musik punk. Maka track-track yang ada di sini diambil dari rilisan-rilisan musik punk dan subgenre-subgenrenya secara luas dari netlabel seluruh Indonesia.
Dengan hal ini kami berharap bahwa keberadaan netlabel-netlabel Indonesia ini dapat diketahui khalayak luas sebagai satu alternatif, baik untuk para pecinta musik dan kontributor dalam musik itu sendiri, dalam permusikan Indonesia bukan satu penghancur industri musik yang telah dibangun bertahun-tahun.

Few months ago I recieved a Facebook letter coming from a currator and also founder from YesNo Wave contained about the plan of mixtape releasing along the Indonesian netlabels.
Certainly, this thing is done for some reason beneath. Existence, thats the main point of why this mass gathering happens. In Indonesia itself, the netlabel is a young aged culture product. But the existence has been gained recently in the local music scene.
This could be seen with Zoo's album which becomes a critical aclaim on one of the radio in the capital city and also Frau's EP which has become a hype for almost all of the radio station among big towns. So this could be conclude that Indonesian netlabel no longer to be said a "hobby" thing cause of the existence itself.
This mixtape is compiled by each of the netlables with its own choice and its own theme. And StoneAge Records here as a punk-based netlabel, so all the tracks here are coming from the punk releases with its wide range of subgenres.
So, we hope that the existence of Indonesian netlabels could be recognized and realized by society as an alternative, both for the music listener and the kontributor beneath the community, for local music scene not as a destructor for the industry that been built for many years.
