Oke saya tau kalo liner note ini dibaca di masa berdarah-darah saat banjir strikes jekardah again ato di saat anda bersih-bersih pasca the great banjir strikes, tapi yang harus anda ketahui kalo kami telah merilis sebuah band D-Beat keren asal Kitchener, Kanada, Disrape hell yeah #NaonBae. Sebenarnya kami menemui mereka via sebuah review di webzine dark2an dan dari sana alhamdulillah orang2 baik dan tertipu ini akhirnya untuk mengiyakan tawaran setan bersama StoneAge Records untuk merilis sebuah album.
Berasal dari daerah kecil di Kanada dan katanya sih mirip kayak Mojokerto infonya si Gary, Disrape sendiri akan menyuguhkan kepada anda taste dari D-Beat classic yang dibalut dengan sound yang sangat raw se-raw singkong goreng yang digoreng tanpa melalui proses pelunakan atau perebusan terlebih dahulu! (Ini tulisan musik apa tulisan kuliner sih mas! Dari D-Beat nyambungnye ke pisang goreng buset dah!).
Terdapat 15 track dalam full album ini yang akan menyuguhkan kepada anda rasa D-Beat klasik yang diramu dengan sedikit cipratan Rock N Roll klasik. Bolehlah menarik garis keseluruhan antara Disclose yang sedikit condong ke Inepsy ato Avskum dengan Motorhead sebagai dewa yang disembahnya #Ahzeeekkk. Salah satu track yang saya rekomendasikan adalah "Dethriders" yang dimana cucok sekali dengerin nih lagu setelah pulang ngelapak di gig bawa bebek 125R ngebut kecepatan 60 km ke atas #OpoBae.
Saya kira Disrape ini sangat cocok apabila anda merupakan seseorang yang sedang merindukan romantisme classic D-Beat dengan sound lo-fi ala toa mesjid dan mudah2an juga menjadi soundtrack yang tepat untuk bersih2 bareng pak RT pasca banjir dan hujan badai datang. Mari mari langsung sedot albumnya dengan di bawah ini!
Ok first of all, I know that this liner note will be read by everyone who are on this such a disasterous moment (flood is sweeping out more that quarters size of Jakarta) but you have to know that we're now releasing a cool Canadian Raw D-Beat act, Disrape. And we found them via a review of a hardcore/punk webzine. Such a miracle that we found a deal to re-release their album for free download into our lovely netlabel, StoneAge Records.
Hailing from such a small town in Canada, Disrape will show you a classic D-Beat taste blending up with the raw sound. As raw as a fried cassava without any presto or boiling phase, these 15 tracks full album will present you a classic D-Beat tunes with any mixture of Rock N Roll. Lets imagine when Disclose leaning into kinda tunes from Inepsy or Avskum and worshiping Motorhead as the god. One of my favourite track that is fully recomended is "Dethriders" which totally fit as you're on the way home from a gig with 60km/hour or above bebek 125R bike on your ride.
I think that Disrape will be a good tune if you're missing such a romantism of classic D-Beat tunes with a lo-fi taste.
